Your files and your data
Your files
- They are converted on your device: in the Windows app, or inside this browser tab.
- They are never uploaded, to us or to anyone else.
- In the browser they stay in memory only and are gone when you close the tab.
What we collect
- Nothing. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts.
Stored on your device
- Web app: an offline copy of the app and one setting (the large-file warning). Clear the site data in your browser to remove it.
- Windows app: settings, a list of recent conversions (names and paths, never contents), logs and models, in %LocalAppData%\DropFlow. Delete that folder to remove them.
The internet and other services
When the internet is used
- To open this website, and when the Windows app checks GitHub for updates.
- When you give the web app a link: your browser downloads that one file straight from that site (a plain download, no cookies). Nothing is uploaded.
- Optional AI models and helper programs in the Windows app, only after you agree.
- Send to phone: a temporary server on your own Wi-Fi, only while its window is open.
Other services
Vercel hosts this website, GitHub hosts the downloads and updates, and Hugging Face hosts the optional AI models. Like any server they keep normal request logs (such as your IP address), under their own privacy policies.
